Bio

Ana Black is a multidisciplinary artist working in new media, video and photography. Born in Vancouver, Canada, Ana Black Studied at the University of British Columbia, the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts, Paris, France and graduated with an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, where she received highest honors and the TC Colley Award for Excellence. Ana Black's work has been exhibited and published internationally. Her images have been archived at the Getty Research Institute at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles and she has also been the recipient of several national and international awards including a VADA Award from the Vancouver Foundation through the Contemporary Art Gallery and a Canada Council Grant.
